I brought my girlfreind to the Zoo today, and here are my favorite pics. No editing, except resizing, all strait from the camera. Most the pictures have fence blurs in them, I had to shoot thru to many fences. So Im only posting ones without the fence, few exceptions though.

C&C please. I particularly like the giraffe the most... And the one with the two Orangutans, mother and son/daughter, is real nice, the one problem is there was a rope jungle gym thing in the way, and unfortunately, this Zoo was not Camera-freindly. Everything had something in the way i.e. Fence, ropes, cage bars, people, kids... everything imaginable.

One of my favorites

I like that Orangutan shot but like you said it is too bad that the rope was there. Cool capture nonetheless.

Haha a quick look at the iguana I thought he was holding out his hand for you to shake it but then realised it was a branch. :-)

the bobcat is actually a caracal and the unknown one is greater kudu, most of the picture lack contrast and saturation, also try to get closer to the animals

Yes your right, I have bobcat pictures as well, but I posted the wrong one. Thats as close as it gets to these animals without buying a new lens. This was a zoo and I was pretty far away from them all.

Lol yeah, pretty stealthy lizard. I like that shot because the branch actually looks like a part of its body, helps show it's survival techniques. When I got up towards it, he stopped moving completely and sat 100% still. Not a single movement. The whole while some lizard 4 feet away was in the process of "raping" a female iguana. Mating season... a lot of the exibits where closed off, I'm guessing because of this. But I managed to still get a few. That Gazelle picture was shot by me standing on my tippy-toes and shooting over a large black thing that was over the fence stopping people from seeing.
