Most of my posts can be found in the automotive area, but last weekend I was able to take a few shots that I wanted to share with you all!

These were taken at Abilene Christian University's campus here in Abilene, TX. A buddy and I were out taking more pics of the Mustangs when I saw his little girl staring at this sculpture - immediately saw the potential for a shot or two! With post editing, I was trying out some new things with these, like selective desaturation/coloring. Please let me know what you think of them.

That second one is pretty awesome. If you don't mind me asking, did you just dup. layer and desaturate the center using an large brush size?

Although I adore the one with the little, inquisitive girl... I think the last one is just stunning! Simple and crisp. Great work.

Thanks for the comments everyone! :)

Mind bogglingly cool!

First two are my favorites!

I like all 3 to be honest, probably #2 the best due to the awesome use of the selective gradient! I like how you use the green grass and the blue sky as the only 2 colors visible.

Makes me want to experiment with the gradient tool a bit more now :)
