The Needle's Eye is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota where the Mt. Rushmore is. One of these tunnels, by the way, has a nice view of the Mt. Rushmore as you go through it -- pretty neat. This was on my second trip to the area in 15 years.

As for the tour bus going through the Needle's Eye, while the tunnel itself is pretty short (a regular car can drive through it in a few seconds), it takes the tour bus about 10-15 minutes to go through. That's how tight it is, and it's a daily "show."

The shot with the bus is cool...especially with the guy watching, from the middle right. Talk about a tight squeeze.
