My good friend Debra has been giving me some pointers on posing; she used to be a model, and I'm getting more and more into portraiture. I'm a lot better at candids (http://forrestcroce.com/Galleries/Portraits.html), though, so this is a bit of a compromise.

Excellent capture, colors, and exposure! She has a little glow around her...did you PS the BKG to be add some DOF?

Thanks, everyone! This was simply outdoor / ambient lighting. I need to get a flash and learn to use it, but haven't done that yet. The slight glow is from a Photoshop soft focus (http://forrestcroce.com/Articles/DigitalSoftFocus.html) effect I like using in portraiture.
