I'm not sure if it's the right forum to ask but I'll give a try...
I have taken a lot of pictures during parties and gatherings and my family members and friends like to see those. I like to post it on the internet but I'm looking for something free and it should have a privacy control where only people that I know can access the pictures. I have dozens of pictures and "drag and drop" feature is a big plus. Can you recommend me a good website?
Thanks!

Of all the photo sharing sites that I've tried, both free and paid, I personally like www.smugmug.com.

I use snapfish (http://www.snapfish.com/) to share with family and friends.
You can create separate group rooms, and password protect them.
Anyone with a password to the room can order prints. Anyone with a password to the room can also upload their own pictures there.
I love using it with my family... after an event, we all load our pictures to the same area, and we can pick and choose which pictures we want to print for ourselves. It's great. :D

I may now be fashionable but I use Google's Picasa 2. It's fast - easy to share private or public folders and you can either let people download or deny them. It's a nice free package.

Smugmug is pretty cool. Lots of features, easy to use, and the price is low. If you use this referral code you can get $5 off.. Vs86Mu7akIlEE

simpleviewer is good and effective, you'll need some webspace though to upload the viewer and images.
