Great stuff. Like you mentioned, too bad about the mic stand in #5, would also be nice if the "partial people" in the BG weren't so prominent. But aside from PP, it's tough to impossible to get the "perfect" compostition in tight quarters. These look great.

I like mike stands that are not in faces so this is perfect. Partial people are a necessity unfortunately because they all keep lining up! Love Ms. Penner (of course) and the beer!

Im going to all tomorrows parties this weekend, planning on getting some shots of Nick Cave, Low, Joanna Newsom and A Silver Mt Zion.

Wish it was GY!BE though :pIf you've never seen A Silver Mt. Zion, you are in for a treat. I saw them twice during their tour of the States last summer (both in Baltimore and DC), and they were amazing. I was blown away. Plus, they're a really fun band to photograph, so that doesn't hurt. :lol:

As for the thread, I really really like #7. The lights on the bottle make it look quite pretty; I don't even drink, and it looks appetizing.

I saw ASMZ in camden last summer. They were UNBELIEVABLE!!! Have not seen do make say think. Would love to more than any other band at the moment.

i'm guessing he was the guitar player on the far side of the stage from where i was...too many people/mic stands/other obstacles in the way to get a clean shot.

v. jealous of you shooting nick cave (grinderman, i am guessing?). would love to do that! good luck and post some shots.

i actually like the "product" shots the best - the piano and the beer. They look like ad stock. Maybe narlus has discovered another area of photography to pursue! those shots suggest he sure has a knack for it.
