I like the expansive, wide angle view.

Thanks Garibaldi! I always have mixed feelings about wide-angle shots like this, I always want more detail. :)
Shaun,
He's way down there in the valley, riding one of those cows. :)
(that small town you can barely see behind the small aspen trees is Jefferson, CO)

Nice shot, Kenny! I see you still have quite a bit of snow in the mountains.

Thanks Becca, yes we got some snow there last week. The mountains you see there are the continental divide so may not be clear til June. :) In fact I tried to get up to a small lake (Lake Jefferson) which is on the Colorado Trail, but there were snow drifts across the road near the lake and I didn't want to chance getting stuck, so I wimped out.

Hey Kenyc, I think I may have been around those parts. I was on a mountain biking holiday in Colorado last August, and our first ride was from Kenosha Pass, heading south east from there. The picture below (only a snapshot) was taken looking west. I don't really know the geography of the area but your picture looked kind of familiar, which made me check out mine.

Greats shots, love the wide expanse.
Which lens did you shoot with this?
I love the sweeping expanse of the land in the first shot, rolling plains.
And because I'm a huge a South park fan, I now can't get the theme song out of my head!

Paul that's exactly where this was shot from just a bit south of Kenosha Pass at a scenic overlook. :)

Well, there definitely appears to be "ample parking, day or night..."
I seem to recall that maybe it was you who mentioned recently that you don't like overly saturated photos (might have been somebody else).
Anyway, IMHO, I'd like to see a bit more saturation, but that's just me. Nice shot, otherwise...

Thanks Cubix, likely it was me as I've been bugged lately by the overly saturated photos that seem to becoming more prevalent here.
I'd also agree this looks a bit flat, but it is a pretty good representation of what it really looked like, not much green yet. I did add just a bit of saturation to this.
Thanks for looking and for your comments. Much appreciated.
