A friend of mine called me the other day and asked if I would be interested in shooting a fashion show on sunday to benefit breast cancer research. I said yes before he even finished his sentenced. lol We went out friday and I picked up a canon ex430 speedlite, and I was ready to go. We got there a few hours early to get situated and get it some test shots. In all I had a great time. Alot of beautiful ladies and some cool looking clothes. Since it was my 1st time shooting an event like this I didnt know what to expect. I also had my shutter set a little too slow so there was alot of motion blur. I pulled off about 200 pix and only 30 came out half way descent and about 10 came out great. Heres what I got. Lemme know what you think.

Instead of using ISO 100, f/5.6 and 1/20, why not use ISO 1600, f/4; 1/250 or so, without flash?
Looks like there was enough light, and you wouldn't have had the flash shadows...
Apart from that: Nice.

I agree with Rene ... these would likely have been spectacular ... what lens? The EXIF says the maximum aperture is 5.6. Anyway, they are soft and have too much motion blur as they are. Next time, plan ahead ... it makes all the difference.

I used a 28-135 IS. It was my 1st time using a flash and was an experiment for me really. Next time itll be 10x better!
