Hi folks,
I have an Canon 300D and use a Speedlite 540EZ. The problem is that I have to use the flash on manual setting. Have re-read the manual and it reads:
"When using an external Speedlite, use an EX-series Speedlite. The
flash cannot be fired with an EZ-, E-, EG-, ML-, or TL-series
Speedlite set in the TTL or A-TTL autoflash mode. Use the
Speedlite’s manual flash mode instead if provided."
This is a bit of a bugger (the 540EZ was bought about 3 years ago). Is there any way around this problem of not being able to use A-TTL or TTL short of using the manual option or purchasing another flash?
Thanks in advance.
