Sometimes the world is simply a stunning place... When you live in a dry arid place, it's not so often that we see the beauty that many of you see daily.

Today we had a treat... the sky was full of these beautiful fluffy clouds.. the kind that makes your heart just sing out loud.. I'm corny, I know.. Anyway..

I couldn't walk away without getting a couple of shots.. Mid-day and then sunset...

I hope you enjoy them.. I occasional photograph a landscape, and this is just the view of our street, so please don't judge me for quality... I'm just showing beauty this time..

I truly miss those sunsets. I lived in Phoenix from 1979 to 1982. Some of the most spectacular sunsets I've seen were when I was there.

I love the second shot! Maybe the only thing I would do is try to remove the street lights in PS to clean up the skyline. Otherwise, it's beautiful!

wow, amazing sky. I actually cant look at the 1st picture because there is so much depth, it makes me feel all weird hah. But I'll have you know, I keep going back to it.

Yeah, these are basically straight out of camera...just a teensy bit of defog is all... I'll work on street lights some other day... You're right about the sunsets... we get amazing ones, but usually during monsoon season.. today was just magical.

ahh, phx. so that's what I missed today. looks like you live on the west side of town. But here in flag we had some interesting weather ourselves, couldn't really get the clouds because we were getting some snow out here. random, late april snow showers. gotta love flagstaff. :-P

ahh, phx. so that's what I missed today. looks like you live on the west side of town. But here in flag we had some interesting weather ourselves, couldn't really get the clouds because we were getting some snow out here. random, late april snow showers. gotta love flagstaff. :-P

Hey Ryan... You're right.. I'm actually North West... but West just the same... How can you tell? So you guys got snow up there? I never know what's going on... how exciting.. It has been unusually cool for us down here lately. No complaints from this end... it's late April and we're not running the AC yet and we get to enjoy having all the windows open with nice breezes blowing through... AHHHHH!! Love it! :)

Surprising that Tucson doesn't have these skies... I remember it being very
balmy when I was there once... crazy thunderstorms... much more than we get on this end of town... Anyway... it was beautiful. :)

Yeah... I'm a sucker for a beautiful sunset too... problem is they always look better in real life... I'll keep trying to capture the beauty of one though.

Great shots! I love Arizona sunsets. I lived in Flagstaff for a few years while attending NAU and I remember the sunsets rivaling Hawaii. Absolutely stunning.

Nice. I'm from nw phx myself. I went to deer valley which I think you probably live nearby to. But yeah, I recognize the houses which look like all the ones on the west side.
