Picked up my Canon 17-40L a couple of hours ago, It's pouring with rain, again, havn't had a chance to use it yet. It's on the camera ready to go, looks good, feels good :D :D Report will come later and hopefully a pic or two. Regards [F.R.] :) :)

You know what it's like guys, as you walk through the doors of your local camera supplier, you seem to change :lol: you become a different person! you warm up! your eyes see things that are hidden away! you hear voices in your head that say.....buy this! buy that!......you know you shouldn't, but you just can't resist. (It's happened to you I'm sure). Well, as you now know, I picked up my 17-40L on Tuesday, I was about to pay for it, and something caught my eye......there, on the back of the counter, was a 24-70L, it was just sitting there looking at me! what's a guy supposed to do? just look back? I am now the owner, not only of a 17-40L but a 24-70L as well, and they are great. NOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY (a very expensive one, but I'm happy :) :)). Talk to you all later. Imagine the horror on the significant other's face if your local camera store carried shopping carts. I know if I walking into my local Samy's Camera with a shopping cart....my credit card would scream.
