Went into the woods at lunch break at work,and found a pair of Chickadees making a home.Couldn't capture the pair together as they were taking turns removing bits of wood from the tree.

Nice catch. Looks like they are using a woodpecker hole. I'm pretty sure they didn't drill that themselves. :)

Most likely did hire a woodpecker as a contractor:lol:
Buy the little bits of wood they were taking out it would have taken them a year.The hole is about six inches deep.

Woodpeckers make lousy contractors. They tend to move on halfway through a job, and they never clean up after themselves. Nice shots!

I'm pretty sure of that also! :) Funny comment below, also. Hiring a woodpecker as a consultant.

Great shot. I've yet to take a picture of these birds that I like. They are very hard to expose properly (for me).

Thanks for all your comments.Just getting into bird photography.I really enjoy it.Now I need to save up for a 100-400,or the 400 prime.
