At least sleeping quietly for a while.. I've lost my 10D battery-charger :( I went out to shoot swans yesterday, and when I returned home I was about to charge my battery, but my charger is gone, and I suspect that I forgot it during a computer-event two weeks ago :( Not discovering that until now atleast speaks in positive matter for the 10D battery-life =D So now I have to send my battery with my old man to work for charing, since they use a 10D at his work, and have chargers for BP-511's.. *sigh* life is hard :/

That certainly sucks, but it's good that you do have a way to charge the batteries, even though it's less convenient. :) If I lost mine I'd have to immediately buy a new charger! How much are they, anyway?

I have a Lenmar charger that I bought on eBay. It has an AC adapter as well as a car cord. I haven't seen that particular model lately, but the point is that you can do better than the Canon charger.

I have a Canon charger I don't use, it came with my 10D but I prefer to use this:

or this:

The Lenmar is fast and I usually use it at home (though it does come with a 12V lead).
The power 2000 charger is nice a small and easily fits in my camera bag, I take it and the 12V lead so that I can charge wherever I am.
