#1 I'm not sure the crop works.. only half of one eye is a little distracting and I find i'm looking all over the picture to find what i'm supposed to be focussed on.

#2 I love this picture.. i'm sure you'll have fun doing different variations, ie mono, etc to see what works best.. but its a lovely expression and the fact she is looking straight at the camera makes it perfect.

the first one is pointless and unnessasery..the second is very cute photo..it should be a little bit brighter...keep the good work..welcome to our photography world...

Only reason for the first one - playing with catch lights - and seeing how close I can focus on that tiny face!

I only see one picture now...I assume it's the second one people are talking about here...

I really like the colors. You managed to capture a wonderful, typically baby, expression. :)
