Try shutter priority and 1/250th or lower for pans dude..

hey cut him some slack... hes probably just getting into this and we have to provide the constructive advice/criticsm he needs :)

As said above, lower the shutter speed, like use TV mode and start at higher levels (like 400) and work your way down to around 100 (good luck going lower ;) ) or so for the wheels of the cars with some blur/action/movement instead of being stopped and someone might think there is something wrong.

It was the first time shooting Drifters and I admit I have made a few mistakes. I am used to shooting Macro and other sports photography. I will get better and post more once these guys come back

I'll give you another tip, as a drifter, not a photographer, where possible try to get an angle that shows more of the front, the reason being is that drift is about the angle you get, and side shots usually don't show that as well.

Rear shots work well too. If you want to show that they are good at drifting, a wide angle shot of them sideways well before the corner is good too, cause anyone can go sideways at the apex.
