;)

went live last night with my new blu site - i was very impatient becaue this morning my cache was not cleared and i viewed the old site (ewwwww). my husband tells me anyone who has been to my old site will have ot wait until their server's cache is cleared before they will see it too. that's kind of a pain in the :o

i really lucked out becuase last sunday blu had a sale on and i got my interface for $400 instead of $900 (extra 100 for blog). anyways, i'm live.

i'm just switching to people/wedding photography so my galleries are limited - i have some bookings in may and june so soon they will grow. and i think it ws very smart of me to get the dual portal (flash and html) site.

so tell me what you think!

take care,

t :p

Are you happy with Blue? I've heard some really bad things about them.

so far yes. while i ws doing my set up, i pretty much received around the clock assistance. i mean you can only expect so much and its even more difficult with the time difference between london and colorado. its been reported on various forums that there have been problems but so far i am not seeing any. there are a few minor tweeks and adjustments that need fixing, but i would probably, yes, i am positive this would be the situation had i gone with anyone else.

besides, they have thee best templates out there!

OR ! you could go to your internet browser settings and clear cache yourself .....clear everything ...temporary internet files and cookies too ...you should do that anyways time to time to maintain your sytem ...once cookies are gone ...your browser will load the whole page again and than it shoul load the updated one

Spent a couple of seconds on your site, liked it, but some CC as you requested...

pop up full screen is not desired by some, I don't mind it...although you state at the bottom to disable pop up blockers, most surfers won't bother and keep on going...Most internet users want fast, interactive, sensory loading sites....(I know it's a wedding site)..

thought the layout on the title screen was good, but the flash/html navigation didn't scream at me...maybe using words like broadband and dial up may help.... maybe you should look into broadband detection so you do need to ask the user to decide...just my 2 cents....

I thought the rollover colors and other button colors were cute, but in imo they don't compliment the background color of grey...although the bg color is simple and appropriate for a wedding site...maybe a gradient bg that centers around the stage itself with a different color that suits the rollover colors...(be advised I'm terrible with colors, but they just seemed off to me)...

Overall nice job...I enjoyed my experience...
Steve

I have 2 websites through Bludomain and have been with them for over a year with zero problems. My experience has been great. BTW, your site looks good, nice job.
