Pretty cool pics! #1 one and the other fog ones are my favorites. In your album, what city is that? Thanks for sharing.

Nice pics, although the caption for this one (http://picasaweb.google.com/zeineth/HMSHalifax/photo#5057822672935626914) is wrong. It not a railgun, but the Phalanx Close-in weapon system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phalanx_CIWS). Also I believe that it's the Halifax Class Frigate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halifax_class_frigate), not the 'City Class'... and they should be prefixed HMCS, not just HMS.
:D
Nice pictures either way.
Andrew.

Thanks for looking and being so correct. lol
You right about the gun, I couldn't remember exactly what he called it so I picked what I thought was close, guess I should have looked it up. Seems you are correct about the Class although my description is how it was explained to us. Again I should have looked it up.
Halifax-class (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halifax_class_frigate) multi-role patrol frigates (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frigate) is correct.
List of Armament:
24 x Honeywell Mk 46 Mod 5 torpedoes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_46_torpedo)
16x Raytheon RIM-7 Sea Sparrow surface-to-air missiles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIM-7_Sparrow)
8 x Boeing RGM-84 Harpoon surface-to-surface missiles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RGM-84_Harpoon)
57 mm Bofors Mk2 gun
20 mm Vulcan Phalanx Mk15 CIWS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phalanx_CIWS)
6 x .50 calibre (12.7 mm) heavy machine guns
You are right about it being a tough subject. Hard to take interesting pictures when everything is the same color of grey. Makes everything look the same. Not to mention everything inside is so cramped. I didn't bring a wide enough lens with me as I was not allowed to bring any bags or packs so I had to choose my lens before I could even see the ship.
