I don't wish to sound like a complete jerk (a partial jerk is, of course, totally reasonable) but do you ever find yourself looking at pictures these days and wondering whether they are one image or the result of a really talented person using Photoshop to combine a number of elements? I do hope that all of these are genuine because they do look great.

I often do that myself... like the picture with the sun and the lightning... could also be the work of a talented PS-wiz
When you see films like 'The Lord of the rings' for example : You know there are no orc actors... but they could be real... so
there are artists that make pictures look more real than reality...

Kurt Jones' photo of the surfer is genuine. He's a member of the FM forums and had some trouble with copyright theft on this image. Somewhat disappointingly, it's not a shark, but some kind of dolphin.

Of all of them the only one that doesn't look convincing is the lightning one... but I have a feeling they are all real :)
