Hi all,
these two were having a look round my garden....the grasshopper was only a nymph I think...about 5-6mm long

Excellent shots. Love the colour of the grasshopper. Got to like the unlikely looking hover- found one of these myself today- will post some shots later :)

Superb shots - the grasshopper is a fab colour - well spotted. Love those little hoverflies - I want one lol.

Agree with Brian & Linda - lovely looking grasshopper, beautiful colours and the hoverfly is pretty cool as well ;-) Very good images, well done.

pretty nymph - perhaps a juvenile Meadow Grasshopper which come n a purple form as well as the green?
