I need to replace my printer and hoping for some advice. I want a printer that can do decent pictures but the printer also is used for every day printinting also. I know I am not going ot come close to lab prints, but my wife will print some pages for her scrap booking and I print proof sheets for my CD's. I have always used HP so if HP has a model that will do this is probably my preferance. I have a card reader so thats not a necessity to have in the printer. I am looking for a printer in the $100-$200 Range. Thanks Denny

This link should help. CNET if you have not been there is a great place to read reviews and find things that fit your needs. If you look at the Editor's Picks you will see printers that fit each and every category of user. This is not limited to the best overall printers. Enjoy the reading and this should help you find what your looking for. Good Luck.

I have been using the Canon i960 for photo printing as well as general office printing, memos, spreadsheets, reports, desktop publishing etc.
I have been very satisfied with the output. With photos, I use Canon paper.
I have three printers but can mot have them all hooked up in my home office at once.
