Popped down to the kart track at Warden Law yesterday evening to take some photos of plas having fun. While I was waiting for them to start there were some Junior Karters practicing. There are mainly 125cc Karts but the 12-16 years old were throwing them around at some pace :)

Or not in this lads case :)

300 f/2.8 for the first 4 and a 70-200 f/4 IS for the last one

I did a bit of karting myself, 100CC National and met Mr Plato on several occasions when there used to be a track at Felton.

Its been so long that I can remember the make of the frame I used but I think the engine was a KTM. The rig was one of Roy Dicksons race karts

I've been on that track before. Good layout. Just a group of friends blasting about, though.

Gary.

Nice Peter. Warden Law has a few nice angles to shoot from. I must pop up there one day when they have some races on.

Cheers,

Simon.

Although I was not allowed all round the track the hairping proved to be one of the best places. Great fun watching the lads set the Kart up, it always look they are about to go off and then it suddendly just grips. They use every last inch of the track :)
