Very nice. Love the colors. Excellent composition with the beach in the foreground and the pier leading you into the image.

The water and sky is great, I like the photo, but I wish the bridge wasn't so dark.

Greetings,
A very good composition and content. A symentry of swirly clouds and sea water. The pier and mountain at both ends add balance and interest to the image too. Excellent color too. Enjoy...

Another great shot Robert. Did you have a filter on the 17-40? ND perhaps. i hope not because I have the lens but no ND's for it yet, so if it without filter I could get shots like this (I hope).

Did I see this picture in a photography magazine about a month or two ago?

In any case, nice picture. It had my eye wandering around it for quite a while :D

HB mate I did use a filter 0.9 soft gnd. Currently using the Cokin P though have Lee on order, my advise would be get the wider set up to start if you have a full frame camera, if not you will be not using the lens to its fullest.

Anke , thanks for your feedback , I only wish I had a photo in a magazine. This photo was only taken yesterday afternoon, so I don't think it was in any magazine. Cheers Robert

Cheers Robert. I wish I had FF but just managed to stretch the budget to get a 400D. I've got a 17-40 and a 50mm prime. I know what you mean with the full frame camera's. I tried to get a pic of a lovely dam yesterday but couldnt fit it all in. Still, I'm happy. Just gotta get some GND and ND filters now. Got a CP, love that. Also wanting a 70 - 200 IS now. Where does it end?

Anyway, great work, keep them coming.

Great shot. The bridge really helps to pull your eyes to the far distance. It compliments the clouds.
