Looking around for something to shoot indoors last night, and I latched upon a small bag in the daughter's toy drawers.

Lo and behold, plain old simple coloured marbles. So out came the black backdrop, on the floor and just dropped a handful of the marbles onto it. The light is from a tungsten lamp 10 feet away.

I set the camera in AV at shot at f/1.8 for 1.3secs @ ISO 100. Gives some nice bokeh.

i like it except for the angle. The contrast in colors is very cool, as are the perfection of the shape of the marbles. I am not sure if a higher or lower angle, more left or more right would work. But other than that, i like the idea of the shot.
