Looking around for something to shoot indoors last night, and I latched upon a small bag in the daughter's toy drawers.
Lo and behold, plain old simple coloured marbles. So out came the black backdrop, on the floor and just dropped a handful of the marbles onto it. The light is from a tungsten lamp 10 feet away.
I set the camera in AV at shot at f/1.8 for 1.3secs @ ISO 100. Gives some nice bokeh.
