these are really really nice. love the first one. The 4th is not my favorite. The bar of light on her face is really distracting. Keep posting I'd love to see more of your work!

These are great! I am trying to dial in my photography to a standard such as you have shown here... I am a professional, but am trying to get better at my profession and am thinking a 50mm will be good to add back into my lens collection since I have moved to digital 2 yrs ago shooting 20d I have lost that one that I used to use yrs ago. I'll tell you I shot last night with 20d and 17 to 40 4fstop at auto whit balance direct flash mostly with difuser and ISO 400 or 800 and alot of Program mode and a bit of slower shutter speed; a few turned out nicely as usual thank the LORD, but many are still lacking due to bit of blurr or a few focus issues on multiple people. Any advice for dialing in these party shots and function poses will be greatly appreciated. Again very nice wedding shots... some of the best i have seen and nice use of the fisheye it is perfect with the couple against the rail... tricky.

i'd like to second monter's comments. i must also say that the 2nd photo isn't the most flattering angle for me. maybe a little higher and moving a little to your right would do the trick. overall, they are good, and you deserve a pat on the back for a nice job. :)

One more coment... 2nd shot very cool; thinking ahead and getting the big picture are not easy concepts to master and are very obvious post.
Keep the big picture in mind as you go! Life is good.

Yeah, I meant third shot... with all that philosophy.

Beautiful work. I agree that the bar of light on the bride's face in the fourth picture is a little strong and a little distracting.

Great work! Thanks for posting. The shot with the limo in the back is a great group shot. I bet the B&G love it.

Strong photos .. you need to clone out the wire in the 3rd pic that's impaling the bride.

Have to say I think the wire impaling the bride ties the composition in nicely and also accentuates the perspective and slight distortion. My vote is to keep it in.
A lovely set of pics apart from the blown out light stripe mentioned before - can you rescue that on the raw and maybe comp two developments together?

1) Good composition
2) Very nice contrast
3) Bar of light on pic no. 3 was awful, then i scrolled down, everyone said something about it. It's just one of them lesson learned. Not to offend.
All in all, you did a great job.
