Anyone else have this problem? I have the timer set to 1 minute & it has been setting there for over 5 minutes & didn't shut off. Is there something else I need to set?
THanks,
Scot

All you have to set is the auto off time and it should work. I have mine set to 15 min. I am trying it at 1 min...there is goes. Weird...try another setting and see what happens. You could also do a restore to factory settings and see what happens. Another option is take it back if it is brand new. I can't do that any more...mine crossed the year mark 2 days ago.

I tried it on 8 minutes, 4 minutes & 1 & none of them work.

Weird, I'd try a new one at your earliest convienience. Something has gone weird, I do think.

Have mine set to 30 minutes and it turns off every time.
As others have suggested, try some other settings or try redotre settings.

You may also want to update your camera with the newest firmware version 2.0.1 It may help....I'm not sure :?: :?:

Already have that version. But thanks. I called newegg.com to get it replaced & they didn't want to send me a new one, they wanted ME to take care of getting it fixed with Canon. I argued with them, that spending that much for a camera & it arriving that way is unacceptable. Finally they agreed to send me another one only after I send the first one back. I told them, NO that wasn't acceptable & they need to send me a new one first & I will send it back after I receive it. The only way they would do that was I had to buy a new one & then they would refund the price of the first one once they receive it. Fine, by doing that I save $140. Current price is $1360 & I will get $1500 back.

Why do you say that? I spoke to the "supervisor" on the phone & have his email stating that is what is going to happen.
