The first and last shots are of a street merchant's granddaughter and the second one... well, I just thought this one was cool and happened to be two doors down from the little girl. Comments & tips welcome.

Hi Yiskah. I think those are good captures, though the cropping is a bit tight in my opinion. I like the first one the best, and I think it is a good candidate for a LOMO conversion, what with all those colors. It looks like she was oblivious to your taking pictures. I like the possibilities in the second picture, with the plant, grill and pots set nicely against the yellow background. Perhaps a wider field of view without cutting off the subjects is a better approach. You do have an eye for discovering interesting subjects, especially color combinations - when you do, go crazy, take lots of pics from all angles :)
By the way, that's a Bougainvillea, right? Lovely plant, brings back memories, I grew up with huge bushes of those in our front lawn.

Pio,
As always, I truly appreciate your help:) I have been trying to "crop" less, but can see now that you are correct- I will keep working on that;)

Yiskah, I thought the top image looked a little soft or slighlty off focus, but it is (like the 3rd) a nice shot.
I do like the middle one best. Punch, loud and colourful. Would have benefited by being straightened, but other than that, my fave of the 3.
Paul.
