I have been unemployed now for over a year and because my partner is disabled..there is no way I will ever be able to work "full time" again..that is..at a place of work.
However, I think I have found a gap/oppurtunity in the photography market that does not appear to have been spotted so I intend to use that to my advantage and work from home on it to make a few pennies. For obvious reasons I'm not about to disclose my intentions but I could use some help in choosing correct equipment for the job.
I will be mostly photographing outdoors, wildlife, scenery, flora and fauna and the photographs will need to be of a very high quality as there is the possibilty of these photographs being edited by the end user.
Please could some of you give advice on cameras that are up to the job, or give me some ideas of what features I should be looking for in one. I really dont want to go and buy a camera on my limited income only to find it will do A,B,C...but not D..if you follow.
I'm guessing here that I will need lenses and filters to go with the camera, could anyone shed any light on a decent starter set? Also I will need a lightweight, adjustable tripod for use on rugged terrain.
Any other accessories I should be seriously considering purchasing?
Thanks to you all in advance for any advice or help offered.
