Gumball Rally - Registration

Tomorrow in London is the start of Gumball 3000 Rally. The cars will start from Pall Mall in London going to Turkey before finishing in London next saturday.

Today was the registration day so many of the cars arrived to enter and get their graphics sorted out. Sadly, I wasn't allowed access to the underground garage but there was plenty to see at street level.

Excuse the bright copyright logo, these pics are posted on several car forums and I didn't want anything too small that could easily be omited.

This CLK was from Luxembourg. Couldn't get info about the conversion but it looked pretty good. Sadly couldn't take a decent pic of the back of the car as they were having a tripod attached to get some pictures taken. This is the car before it went down to the garage to get all stickered up.

Chrome Lambo: This Lambo with Kuwait plates was finished in chrome. I have to admit it looked much better and perhaps these pictures don't do it justice.

the mb is a CLS and its funny to see that lambo doesn't look like it has chrome wheels, but nice shots.

I was down there as well (in fact when you took the Chrome Lambo i was sitting just down the pavement as i remember the guy in the white jacket talking to the lady with the bag on her back).
I must admit after three hours i got bored waiting around. I got a few shots but im going back tomorrow. I didn't realise they were there for two days. i thought it was just today. Looking forward to seeing them move out, im missed it two years ago when i went

Was typing too fast, you're right it is s CLS and not a CLK. There is a gold Range Rover, i'll post pictures of it tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the big day.. 3 Veyrons confirmed and 2 Carrera GT's. A few Enzo's and at least Ferrari 599. Should be a day to remember for any car nut.

EDIT: Below is a pic of the Range Rover in gold with adidas stripes. Adidas this year is a major sponsor, with a range of apparel just released in time for the Rally.
