Hi Guys,

Visited Whitby today for WGW (Whitby Gothic Weekend), cracking day out lots to see and photograph, so many amazing characters, here's a couple for your perusal, if you'd like to see any more just let me know, as usual any comments most welcome.

I love me some goth wimmins! ;)

But...why are they smiling?!

Great shots. Gothic wear has some very striking colors that often get overlooked...you captured them quite well.

Yeah, seem awfully chiper for a Goth chick!
But I love the shots. Just bring the density(darker) down a bit, if you can....The girls lovely faces look a bit blown...or it could be their makeup.:)

Thanks for the comments guys, Yeah they all seemed very happy, guess they may have been treating it as a day off from the goth norm, will post a couple more in another thread.

Cool shots. I don't mean to be rude but just because they're goth doesn't mean they can't be happy. Goths are more like artist that just have a darker side we don't die if we have fun.

Ha... they're Goth , not Emo. Emo's are the ones that never smile.

I always loved the Gothic fashion , it has a certain "majesty" to it.

You're right about the fashion...we've got some amazing Goth stores in Toronto and my wife bought an incredible dress at one. I keep looking at the Dickensian jackets, but for practical purposes, in my other life in automotive manufacturing, can't see that syle fitting in:confused:
