Very good shots and a very clean car (minus those guages thrown up on the dash).

#1 and #2 take the cake for me.

great shots, but id like to suggest one thing. it looks like you have tried to recover the sky in the first shot, and its majorly posterized. if you have, maybe it would have been better just to add a different sky. i stole the bg from one of your other shots and cloned the car out.

Excellent shots. Numbers 2, 4, 5 are my favorite.

Man, those shots rock. I gotta clean mine and get out there - I have no excuse as the weather in the UK is so good right now! Thanks for sharing these and inspiring me to go and take some shots!!

Thanks for all the kind words. I thought this was one of my best shoots to fate when I posted them, and the feedback they're getting is telling me I'm right. I gotta say that I LOVE the 70-200f4L, it's AMAZING, and I chalk a lot of these shots up to it. I now understand the "L Glass hype".

Yeah, I tried a few things to save the sky in the first shot, even something along the lines of what you did, but nothing I tried "worked" to me, so I just burned it and quit.

Is it some sort of post-processing that leaves you with the real subtle yet extended vinyetting around the outer edges? Or is that from some sort of filter on your lense?

I shoot RAW, and PS CS2 has a nice setup to play with WB, color balance and many other things, vignetting (sp?) being one of them. :)
