In another thread I mentioned having to deal with harsh lighting and how to remedy that. These are a few decent examples, but not the worst ones.

yeah, that is some constrasty lighting there. It looks like you did a nice pretty nice job metering for the faces, which is probably the thing to do. I'm not sure what more you could do other than layering multiple raw conversions or use shadow/highlights in PS.

I like 'em all ... if they are too contrasty for you then set the contrast down either in camera or in post processing the RAW.

I like the bass player shot...
In the rest you could try some highlight recovery if you shot raw...

Love all of them, with 2 or 3 as my favs. Great job with the exposures.
