Wanted to get some c&c on my latest design. I designed it with photoshop CS2 and I'm having it printed and binded on a leather coffee table album.

Rainny,
Thank you, I use GARY FONG'S DIGITAL ALBUM (and Collage) DESIGNER for CS/CS2 at http://store.garyfonginc.com/gafodialdeso.html. There are no templates,It creates auto drops with makes it fast and easy to use. As you get better you can make your on templates for the future.

It seems like the seam from a coffee table book would run smack down the center through a couple of photos, making them virtually unrecognizable (unless it is a flush mount type album or zookbook with very little in the way of a gutter) Of the pages 2, 8, 11 and 13 are my favorites of the bunch. The other pages seem either very complicated and/or random; they just don't seem to come together and mesh well. Great photo's by the way :)

They look nice. I also thought about what parts of the images would end up in the gutter of the book. What will your solution to this be??

I really like the photos and quite a few of the layouts. But, the drop shadows are a bit too heavy on some of them.

Thank you everyone the c & c. As for the center it is cut with a very thin blade and the pages are flush mounted there is a 1/16 of inch seam, It's not very noticable. I am using Albumcrafter out of Fl. http://www.albumcrafters.com When I get the album in I will post images of the seams (My album design 2) Thank you all again.

I really like your pictures and the design of your album. Do you recommend the Gary Fong product or were there shortcomings you did not like?

Jerry,
Sorry it took so long to replay, the product is great it gives you new actions. The actions do everything for you, you pick what you want and its done (sizing, borders, drop shadows, crops, ect.) But for the overlays not so good, they are only about 20 and I don't care for them the only one I would use is the filmstrip.
thank you

Thank you, it took about one hour for a full page give or take on each one(total about 18hrs). There are 16 full pages(32 side) the total time is after my image editing (raw to jpeg using lightroom) and after the B&G picked their images.

Nice. Bit fancy for my tastes, and I like symmetry - though not all the time. One thing to keep in mind when you design a wedding album is grandkids might look at it in 50 years, so you don't want it to date too much.

Tim,
Thank you, I'll keep it all in mind when I design the next one.
