Does anyone use the Sigmas with fullframe? I would like to see how the bokeh and sharpness compares with the 24L in available light scenes.

I´m not expecting much regarding corner sharpness wide open, but that´s not the point for me with a specialty lenses such as these. I´ve read the PopPhoto review though, it says that the Sigmas are fairly sharp stopped down.

So, post those Sigma 20mm & 24mm F/1.8 pictures if you have em.

Thanks in advance!

20 1.8 vs 24L (http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/ISO-12233-Sample-Crops.aspx?FLI=0&API=0&FLIComp=0&APIComp=0&Lens=375&Camera=9&LensComp=247)

Jarred, that's a pretty cool site, but the comparison is about as un-apples to apples as you can get ($400 vs. $1100). The 20 f2.8 would have been a lot closer. The issue with the Sigma is it's corner sharperness, and the Canon 20 seems to be a sharper in that area.

Thanks for the replies!

Yeah, I´ve seen those charts. Horrible fringing on the 24L. ;) There don´t seem to be that many people using those sigmas on fullframe, I guess they serve their best as 35-50mm substitutes on cropped sensors. I´ve searched the usual places, pbase, flickr, with very little luck.

I guess I´ll have to try that 24mm myself then...
