I have a wedding in July to do but am seriously lacking the kit I need to do it. I have the very basics but it seems I would struggle.

Basically looking for someone that is willing to loan/hire me some gear on this day. I would of course be willing to pay for this service but currently am unble to buy the gear I need. Things that I need are as follows:

Canon 350D + cam body (Obviosly the better body the better)
Canon batteries for the 350D - 400D or whatever cam I can borrow
Good, fast lenses that would be good for wedding photography.
Mem cards would also be great.

I relise that this is asking a lot and tbh I doubt anyone would loan me anything but I have to ask. This will be my first wedding and as such am not charging them but I would really like to do the best I can.

If anyone can help then please get in touch. I can collect if not too far away and would of course cover any costs should the worse happen. I would look after the gear with my life as well.

Again I understand that this is really asking a lot but I wont know unless I ask.

Didnt relise we had hire companies here in the uk :eek:

I am in the process of getting a loan so that I can buy the stuff I need but am a little worried that I wont have all I need so thought of asking here. If all goes to plan I should have £2000 to spend on getting the extra's or at least the minimum equipment I need for this wedding.

Calumet is great for hiring equipment, and they can do you a day rate for the entire weekend, though i'm not sure if that policy applies nationwide.

I can't think of any better ways to access high end gear without paying premium price.

Seems quite cheap to me! I would recommend that a week/2 weeks before the wedding you hire all the gear and spend a day getting used to it all, preferably at the location where the wedding will be held. That way you can check angles/lighting/exposure etc.
