There is a windsock on the left of the platform.

Actually, whats under the Helicopter is a tennis court.

it looks a tad dark to me, try adjusting the brightness and saturate it a bit. I would like to see more blue in the sky. I am sure it was a sunny bright day and the camera tried to under expose the pic.

There is no tennis court. Tennis is available at the land level Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The tennis court idea was just for the TV ad. It is a dedicated heliport.

What an impressive structure. Photo seems a bit unsharp though, was this cropped from a 300mm shot?

This photo was taken last year, really before I started to take shots with the manual settings, it was taken as an automatic shot, I didn't crop the photo, or do any changes.
I realise I still have a lot to learn!!!
I took around 8 shots of the helicopter landing.....
