Lunarpages: Thumb and microthumb resize error???

When I use EE internal ftp "Upload" button at the bottom of the "UPLOAD TO DATABASE" page I get the error below:

Warning: exec,site,dl() has been disabled for security reasons in .../gallery/input/RESIZE_imagemagick.php on line 156

It's putting my images in the /gallery/normal folder, but not creating my thumbs and microthumbs...

Any ideas on what the problem might be???

I'll do a version of resize code which lets you choose either "exec" or "passthru" command. This will help if exec is disabled as in your server.

It should be ready today.

I have switched web host providers (to lunarpages.com) and I know that there are other people in the EE forum using this web host provider and running the script fine? Selecting this new "passthru" command as opposed to "exec" will still create my thumbs and mirocthumbs automatically for me won't it? I'm just not sure if this is a problem with my web host provider or the way I have the script set up....

I lied in the first comment I made, it's uploading my files to the "UPLOAD" folder, but not the normal or thumb or microthumb folders! When I hit "Upload" I get the error:

Any idea of a work around/fix? Is this a problem with my web host provider?

One day I'll get this script running! :lol:

I am with Lunarpages, I don't know which settings you are reffering to. Let me know and I will post what I have.

Seeing this error message, you are on a Lunarpages server which does not support the exec,site,dl() function. For securty reasons, LP has disabled this function on most servers. However, on some of their servers (e.g. the valina server I am hosted on) this function is enabled.

I had this problem also just after signing up with LP. You should contact LP support (http://www.lunarpages.com/support.htm) and ask your account to be supported to a supporting server. Just mention in your request you will need the server to run gallery software and need the exec function. With me, the tranfer only took half an hour without any downtime.
