Awesome shot, the lighting seems perfect! Was it really outside? The sky photoshopped? I like it a lot, Excellent DOF too.

It was just before sunset and we had some really warm lighting, and the sun was directly behind us making the sky blue as could be. It was an ideal lighting situation that doesn't come around very often(for me) while we are shooting skateboarding. Thanks for the comments.

"I" would probably adjust out the keystone effect from wide angle lens on the fence posts on the right of the picture, but that's just me. I really like the shot though. Nicely done.

i like the shot, i think the vignetting is just a little too much, i think this would make a good b/w image too.

Nice image, lovely lighting. Well done.
However i would like to see some more of your shots, possibly with a bit more motion.

When you shoot with a wide angle lens, you will get vertical lines near the outside of the frame that are correct where they are level with the lens, but the farther they are form the hoeizon, the more they lean inward. In this case the fenceposts in your shot are leaned inward toward the top of the frame. You will also see this a lot with tall buildings.
I used the "Transform" and then "Skew" commands to adjust the shot by click/hold the arrow in the top left corner and then pulling it outward until the posts were all plumb. There are some excellent books available that can probably explain it better. I like the one by Scott Kelby for Photoshop CS.
Once you are aware of the effect, you tend to notice it more, but it IS your art so you can do it the way you like it best.

Jeff
