I just uploaded some shots taken over the last two days with the 1D Mark II. This camera is sweet. Please take a look:

Nice! It's obvious by looking at the first few of those shots, that the camera has a wide tonal range. Looks like you're having a good time with your companion. I share in your joy!

Thanks. I was at work for the first group of shots, so the options for composition were limited. I tried to find shots that would test the metering. It seems to have worked well.

Scott,
I'm on the laptop right now and it is not the best for looking at images but from first glance they look real fine. Will take another look tonight on thr CRT.

Thanks IanD. I am amazed at how little post processing these pictures required. I am shooting JPEG, Standard Parameters, until I install the software. I spent much less time then I would for my 10D. It's convinced me that I should send my 10D in for calibration.

I replaced the images I uploaded earlier with the same ones but of higher resolution. I think these do the camera more justice.

Thank you for your kind responses. I have redone the conversion to web size. It seems many people were viewing the size labeled "original" and getting a blown up picture of too few pixels. It made the camera and the pictures look inferior. My apologies. That has been corrected.
