With my entire Nikon kit sold off (D2XS selling now), and awaiting the arrival of the Mark III, I used my 5D at my daughters SB game. First time out using the 70-200 2.8 IS and very much impressed. I had Nikon's equivalent which I loved dearly, but I am so pleased and impressed with my Canon replacement :). Fast AF, solid IQ and superbly quiet. Pleased with the keeper rate first time out.

The 5D is not the optimal sports body, but I thought it did just fine. I'm really excited with the switch and can't wait for the new camera to add to the 5D.
