cool did you use a polarizer or anything? could that damage the sensors?

I liked it until I scrolled down to see the rest of the photo... then, I LOVED it- once I saw the bottom hand. Great shot!!

Awesome rich colors and looks very professional. Seriously looks better than some stock images I have seen in magazines and such!

Digger: no filter on the lens, i don't think the couple of pics i took, the brightness of the weld would have any effect on the sensor..
Kyle: no metering - i looked under the car and thought hmm, bare 40W bulb, sunny day, ISO100, that will be about 1/60 @ 6.3 ;) (thats before the welding started :))

That's a real neat shot. I like the way the sparks are flowing across the framed empty space.

yeah i'd noticed the sparks while he was welding and thought it was too good an oportunity to pass up.. this is the pic with the most smoke in :)
