Congrats., it is a great lens. I'll be bringing mine with me to North Wales this summer.

Bastard. Totally my next lens purchase. I want a new body first though. First lens I've actually SAVED for. Restraint, restraint, breathe.

I have been using a sigma 120-300 for a while, its a fantastic lens but after playing with a couple of the 300's from other photogs here and there I just wanted it. I sold my 120-300 and lost virtually nothing on it (great lens as a stepping stone and the 120-300 zoom is so so so useful - I hated to see it go)

Off to Wembley next weekend to shoot a football game with it so cant wait to try it out in anger !
