Anyone going?
Its my brothers first race, (not counting three sprints last year) and will be driving car 41 in the Stoneguard Mono Championship (Class 2000) - a red Reynard 883 - Toyota Formula 3 car (last race of the day)
I'm partly acting as "team manager" making sure he's in the right place at the right time.
Where is the best place to shoot from - that is still in easy jog of the paddock?

Will be there , I have 2 friends racing in the saloon car championship . The easiest place to get to from the pits is camp corner (leads on to the start finish staight) . Personally I tend to shoot from quarry corner (most accidents happen there) .

I'll be there hopefully. Weather report doesn't look great ATM to be honest, but you never know.
Quarry is a good spot for pics definetely - good open views and no fencing to get in the way ! And as Dave says, usually a bit of 'action' there!!
Also, the chicane down the straight (the esses) after quarry can be good if you walk past it and get a good view back towards the chicane.
Have fun anyway!

Or if you fancy a walk in the other direction, head down to Bobbies and shoot from Westway

Yeah, if you cheese it, you can make it from the assembly area to either spot (Folly comfortably) by the time the cars do the first racing lap.
Might be there ...
