Its a 99 z28 with ss hood and badges...123k on chassis, 63k on motor. Went and checked it out, interior is good, but the outside has obviously been repainted. no major body damage, new paint and it would look sharp. I also have the VIN if someone would want to PLEASE help me out on a carfax if they have an unlimited account. anyway tell me your two cents.
p.s. heres the VIN if someone wants to be a champ 2G1FP22G7X2111657

If you ask me? No f-ing way. Seems noticeably steep for one that old.

Not sure what you're looking for car wise. 6 grand could be alright, depending on the model (is it the actual 5.7 v8 SS, or just a rebadged 3.8 v6)? For a v8, that's pretty good. A comparative performance Mustang would cost more than that. However, for a v6 it seems a little steep, especially considering the mileage on the body.
Muscle cars are awesome; and if you found a 5.7 SS for $6,000, I'd say go for it! Then, you can go beat the pants off of ricers with their "souped up" four-bangers that push a whopping 130 horsepower with a 3.5" fart pipe and an unpainted body kit (to make the car faster ) ;).

I don't know all details but this should be a good ballpark estimate. I averaged the body and motor miles and plugged in 90K.

KBB is usually pretty conservative in my experience. So, if it really is the SS, go for it (I'm not sure about chevys, but Ford muscle engines are good well into the 100,000 mile marker).
That, and jet black cars are really cool.

its not an original SS its just badged with ss's and a aftermarket hood. its really a z28 camaro, with a 5.7L ls1 corvette motor. I really need a carfax!

That's a Z28 non-SS quote.
