Lightbox Question...

Hello all! I have access to an "educational lightbox" for another month or so. It is used for youth block play with see-through blocks and color exploration. I have seen photos where people use 'photography' lightboxes and feel that this box would work great... BUT, I have NO idea how to use it- what settings, etc. Any tips? Like I said, I only have access to it for a bit longer- I am changing teaching positions and buildings. I am willing to stay after and even come in at night to get some good shots.
