Nice work Alan ... I especially like the house shot as I don't ever get the opportunity to shoot this type of shot as I have to shoot as tight as possible . It is also nice to see a different angle on the stairs ( fence 5 ) which is where I was all day .

Otta - were you the photographer that said "alright" to me ?.You were sitting on a small chair on the right side at the bottom of the jump(by the crossing for the spectators). Then you got up when the horse and rider came(then you said alright).

Thanks for the comments

Lovely shots! did you have media credentials or were you shooting from the sidelines?

i have an almost identical one of your 1st shot galloping down one of the straights...... i'll post it up when i get home. i was very dissapointed with my 1st efforts with my new 70-200mm 2.8L IS but i had a couple of good uns.... i'll put a couple up tonight.

Hi steve - No i was just a normal spectator. But the jumps and the long straights were so close anyway it did'nt matter being a "Pro" photographer.

Did you burn in the afternoon like me  :(

Thanks Claire
