Well, I've been "hanging around" since september last year, and I realized I still haven't posted the obligatory pet-picture. Guess I have to rectify that.. Took some pictures of him while he was relaxing in his (and of course mine too) favorite chair in the living-room:

Not the greatest shots :-P But hey, they where already eight months late, I started feeling the pressure ;) Not the "prettiest" model in town, but certainly one of the best fighters ;)

I think the perfect cat portrait has depth of field perfect from the front of the nose and whiskers and back past the hair of the ears.

Did you get a signed model release?

Yeah, it was to shallow dof in these, but I didn't manage to get more with the handheld setup indoors :( Signed model-realease? Sure thing! He walked through my ashtray, and stamped his paw in the lower-left corner of the print, while begging me for more chicken ;)
