Hey Guys,

I recently calibrated my monitor so I decided to PP my pics...

Can you tell me if these look too dark/ or just right on your monitors?

Thanks a million!

here is a tip for you, if using photoshop dont use brightnesss/contrast for most images.
use a hue/saturation layer and balance saturation with lightness.
You will get better results that way.

I used lightrooom... i simply S curved the levels --and played with the exposure and black levels until i got what looks good on my monitor.. I was going for Dark N rich without losing detail in shadows.

for what you mentioned, what would you recommend as an equiv technique in lightroom... ?

Time to diverge - I like the darkness of the second one - the water becomes mysterious and intriguing.
