Hi,
I as having problem clicking flat shots of spectalces with glasses on and off against a white background. If somebody could direct me as to how the basic setup should be to get maximum detail i would greatly appreciate it. or a link to a diagram of the same, as i have to click a large number..

Can you be more specific about the problem? Can you post a sample image?

Hi speedmaster,
If I understand you correctly you're getting glare when the subject is wearing eyeglasses.
The only way I know of to reduce or eliminate the glare is to move the lights (both main and fill) further to the side and find a happy place in between the 'technically correct' position and a position to the side that cuts the glare.

Sorry but i was not specific enough the frames have to be shot without anybody wearing them just flat shots.
And the problem is hat i do not get enough depth as such or the white accrylic is bouncing the light off a lot, so where should i put the lights for maximum effect to show the whole product.
thanks for the response

have you tried useing a polarising filter, they can dramatically reduce reflection and glaire from shiney objects when the light is at an agle from your camera
