digi rebel/i9100 printer? help plz

I'm new here and I hope im posting this in right place if not sry:(

I recently picked up a digital rebal and got a canon i9100 as a gift. for the price they are great.

here is where I'm having a problem, I installed canon ez phot print and the colors from monitor and print are way off. this is using index print setting. Is there a way to adjust colors in ez photo print to match?? I look for any way to adjust colors but did not see anything.

any help would be great.

First, make sure that you have the most current printer drivers (v1.63 released 3/11/2004 and the current Easy-Photo Print v 2.11 released 4/6/2004) as well as the Canon Color Management files (*.icm) for this printer. You should be able to download all of this at the Canon website

Select Downloads, Consumer products from the menu bar and then select your printer to get to the driver/software page.

If this does not make a difference, you will need to go through calibration steps on your monitor and perhaps printer. I found that my S9000 with current drivers and color profiles yielded results very close to what was shot, but this can be improved with further calibration, but at a cost of both time and hardware/software to do so. You can also purchase custom printer and monitor profiles from various sources at varying prices.
