These are some new (and mostly rare) invertebrates from Malaysia and Africa - just wonderful creatures. This first one is my favorite, oversized fangs and uses them on everything (and everyone)...

Oh, man, these are GOOD! Did you take the scorpion image when it was glowing under the black light?

What beautiful looking spiders! I presume 1,2 & 6 are tarantulas of some sort? Can you handle them, or are they dangerous to humans? Lovely images.

Man - this is probably the best series of scary beautifull animals I have seen on this forum. Excellent. The first two look a lot like Mouse Spider family spiders?

Wow, nice shots. Saw a centipede like that one on my house this past weekend..took a couple shots of it, but they did not turn out like yours. I noticed that the rocks look similar in each shot. Were they set up at home or at a zoo?

First, to everyone taking the time to comment - thank you.
Oh, man, these are GOOD! Did you take the scorpion image when it was glowing under the black light?
No, just normal studio lighting (AB800) - that scorpion has a neon-green glow naturally.
What beautiful looking spiders! I presume 1,2 & 6 are tarantulas of some sort? Can you handle them, or are they dangerous to humans? Lovely images.
Since these are true spiders and we don't have firm ID's on them all, I can't say if they are toxic to humans. However I do not handle any spider, even tarantulas (which are all harmless to humans (still painful though)).
Man - this is probably the best series of scary beautifull animals I have seen on this forum. Excellent. The first two look a lot like Mouse Spider family spiders?
Thanks - the first two are "trapdoors" but are from Africa, where the "Mouse Spider family" hails from Australia. So could be related or could also be parallel evolution and simply appear similar, no idea right now.
I noticed that the rocks look similar in each shot. Were they set up at home or at a zoo?
Well all the rock is slate (though different pieces in nearly every shot), and these are taken at home.
...thanks again all.
